How President Trump can motivate you to save more money

Apparently, when Trump was elected president, college campuses all over the U.S. had “cry ins”, where students sat inside and… cried.

… because their favored candidate lost.

Also, therapy dogs and… play-doh.

And… exams were made optional.

And so on.

I dunno, seems like a bunch of emotional hemophiliacs attending an expensive pre-school.

Actually, that’s probably highly offensive to hemophiliacs… and pre-schools if I’m being honest.

Remember when Bloomberg predicted with “100% certainty” that Trump was going to lose (yes, they actually reported, as news, that Trump wasn’t going to win. Never. No way possible because… reasons)?

MSNBC even put up an electoral college board showing Clinton beating Trump 363 to 84… before the election results were in.

Mayhaps we’ll see more election shenanigans over the next few days…

Now that I’ve triggered a bunch of people with painful truths, let’s think logically about this issue.

For the record, I do not believe Trump is all that great (sorry/not sorry). I do not think Trump can make America “great again” (personally, I think America is great with or without him). Is Trump the devil? Probably not. When he’s out of office, people will probably forget him (very quickly) and go on living their lives… just like people went on living their lives after Gerald Ford.

Gerald who? Exactly.

Presidents aren’t what make America great, but they can (sometimes) make America bad and turn people against one another through clever narrative-building. Come to think of it, Trump did an excellent job triggering the left and probably the only reason he wasn’t immediately assassinated is because liberals don’t believe in guns and also even if they did, they wouldn’t be able to see straight through their tears… but that’s another story.

The real story is about how news media always does this sort of thing. They distort facts, sensationalize stories, invent false narratives (like saying Trump was going to lose when he actually won), and (by extension) try to trick you into making bad decisions.

It really doesn’t have anything to do with Trump. When a democrat wins, Fox News and other conservative news outlets put out fake news too.

This started way back when radio gave way to television. When news was transformed from a respected profession and industry into a cheap form of entertainment.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Obviously, the majority of the country did vote for Trump, and the stock market did well… for a while. And the economy seemed to be doing well… for a while.

But… the reality is his campaign and presidency is nothing but a show. Just like every other presidency is a show. It was the same problem during Obama’s terms. Anyone remember when he asked folks to give him donations instead of giving wedding gifts to friends?

Politicians never care as much about you as YOU care about you.

Never.

They mostly care about themselves and getting re-elected. Yes, even Trump.

Anywho, if you don’t really care about yourself (or your future), no one is going to save you.

On the other hand, if you DO care about your future… your kid’s future… your spouse’s future… you (fortunately) have all the power you need, right now.

If you’re mad about Trump being in office, use this as an excuse to take more control over your life and finances. And, if you are happy about Trump being in office, just remember… he only be in office for 4 years at a time, and the best he can do is 2 terms. But… eventually he’ll be gone and maybe someone else (whom you hate) will be running the show.

And that person may want “revenge” on a Trump presidency.

So… think very carefully about how you plan for your future. Want to take control over your finances right now? Join my email list and learn how.
